Call: The meeting
was called to order at 6:30pm, January 12, 2022. In attendance were Lois Lund and board members Bobby Sadler, Garry Colasardo, Jim Stewart
and Peggy Severson.
Adoption
of Agenda: The
agenda was unanimously approved.
Secretary’s
Report: The minutes from December were
approved.

highlights:
The South Dakota Public
Assurance Association sent our renewal packet and invoice for $1,718.30.
Water
Report: A program logic circuit
board failed in pump-house #1 (near Junco Lane) and was not allowing the pump
to start which fills the Lark Lane tanks.
The board was replaced. There was
no water outage.

Road Report: A tax deposit of $361.79 was received. Snowplow expense was $135 in December.
Old
Business: Mike Adam submitted a plan for a casita (small house) addition to his home
that would be connected by a breezeway.
Meade County approved his building permit and there were no objections
by the district board members.
Jim
will seek crack seal bids for Woodland Drive.
New
Business:
The board will get some estimates about refurbishing pump-house #2 (on the
upper end of Woodland Drive). The
current building is home to mice and chipmunks and needs some TLC. As part of the refurbishment Jim will ask
Dakota Pump if a water leak detector is available that can connect with the
SCADA system and alert us to water leaks in the pump-house and well-house.
Jim
presented a 2022 budget to the board and we will finalize the numbers at the
February meeting.
