Woodland Hills Sanitary District

January 2020 Minutes

 

The January meeting of the Woodland Hills Sanitary District board was called to order at 6:34pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. 

 

Roll Call: President Bobby Sadler established that a quorum existed to conduct the meeting.  In attendance were Lois Lund, Dylan Striebel (Clearwater Consulting) and board members Garry Colosardo, Jim Stewart and Peggy Severson.

 

Adoption of Agenda: Bobby presented the agenda to the board and it was unanimously adopted.

 

Secretary’s Report: The December minutes were reviewed and unanimously approved.

 

Income Report:

 

For December:

Net income was $4,027.  

Gallons pumped was 422,415.

Gallons pumped a year ago  377,555.

     

Water Report:   Water losses for December were 20 percent.   The backup well was put into service for two weeks starting December 26 as a routine test.  A quiet month for the water system.

 

Road Report:  The road account received $1,000 for the sale of the sander.

 

Old Business:  Early payoff of loan #2 was discussed and will be tabled until after leak detection has been performed in the spring.

 

Jim presented a 2020 budget which includes a $1 per month rate increase in the base charge.  It will go from $37.50 to $38.50.  The water rates have not been changed since June 2013.   The budget was adopted unanimously and is available on the district web site, www.whills.org.

 

New Business: None

Resident comments:  No residents in attendance.

 

The board adjourned the meeting at 7:00pm.
