Woodland Hills Sanitary District

May 2019 Minutes

 

 

The May meeting of the Woodland Hills Sanitary District was called to order at 6:33pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2019.

 

Roll Call: President Bobby Sadler established that a quorum existed to conduct the meeting.  In attendance were Lois Lund, Ed Striebel and board members Beth Haivala, Garry Colasardo and John Knight.   Jim Stewart was not able to attend.

 

Adoption of Agenda: Bobby presented the agenda to the board and it was unanimously adopted.

 

Secretary’s Report: The April minutes were reviewed.  Garry made a motion to approve the minutes, 2nd by John and the vote was 4-0 to approve.

 

Income Report: Net income for April was $5,688.   There were three accounts not paid in April.

 

Water Report:   Water losses for March were 18.2%.  Again, all quiet on the water front.

 

Road Report:  Board members have received a few calls about a white car racing through the sub-division.  If you're that person, ease the lead out of your foot, please. 

 

Old Business:  The Rapid City asphalt plant has started back up after the winter layoff.   B&H is still planning to rehab the Chickadee turn and three other locations on Woodland Drive.

 

The lock on the Lark Lane green tank control room was replaced by Harvey's Lock.

 

A notice of vacancy for the board was published twice in the Rapid City Journal.
