Water
and Project Report:
Notes
from Dylan Striebel:
Non-Project: Replaced wiring in Jaycox meter pit, hang
transmitter back on post, (5/24)
DENR
Environmental Fees, standard annual charge, based on population, $100.00
Water
loss, -2.4%, see below
Additional
costs to replace fuses for well #2 discovered when replacing wire (Morford) and
billed directly to WHSD-$260.00
Project: Well #1 Pump installation complete 5/12,
(set at 640 ft), disinfected and sampled 5/13, water deemed safe to drink 5/16
5/16
After Taylor wrapped things up on 5/13, Well #2 would not start, no water
pumped since 5/13, all tanks essentially empty, started Well #1 on hand, call
Morford, (tripped overload relay). Fixed the same day and back on line, however
it took a couple days before all tanks full again and we read meters on the
16th. (reason for negative water loss).
All
Taylor work complete, performed final inspection 6/3, invoice was over bid
amount by $2169, (pump test add on due to our pump not starting ($1500), wiring
for well #2 ($200) and Sine wave filter ($400)
Well
#2--Had Taylor verify Morford’s OHM numbers, (ok), he recommended not replacing
DVDT filter with Sine Wave filter until we replace pump. Also had him reset
pump parameters, (ramp up and ramp down/start and stop), to allow pump to
operate more efficiently and hopefully, extend pump life.
Pump
House #2--All items received and ready to install, plumbing rebid by Powles,
$1700-$2000 plus meter and materials (estimate $4000.00) Total $6000
Tank
and Building rebid as required by DENR--Bid opening 6/9
The
total remaining SRF Funding available is $187,604.00. The final bid for the
remaining improvements is $183,223.00.
Carol
made a motion to approve the water and project report, seconded by Bobby and
approved 4-0.
Road
Report: There was a tax deposit made into the
account in the amount of $3621.67.
Old

1 position open. A letter was placed in the water mailbox notifying residents
of the opening.
The

New
