WOODLAND HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING

February 15, 2012

The meeting began at 6:30pm and was held at the Lark Lane meeting hall.  Attending were Randy Alexander, Jim Stewart, Kathy Colasardo, Dick Helmstetter, Lois Lund, and Ed Streibel.

Secretary's Report:  Jim read the minutes from the January meeting and a couple of typos were found and fixed.  Randy motioned to accept them with a 2nd by Kathy.

Income Statement:  Jim motioned to accept the income report with a 2nd by Dick.

Water Report:  Our water losses were 64 percent for January.   A large leak was repaired on Lark Lane.  In the locator holes dug to isolate the leak Ed noted that there was no decent bedding around main line.  The leak was caused by a large rock piercing the line.  The repair expense will be about $4080.

In the past 48 months there have been just 12 months where the water losses were less than 30 percent.

Randy motioned to accept the water report with a 2nd by Jim.

Old Business:  Dale Hansen sent us a survey map of the proposed Woodland Hills Sanitary District.   Now the board members need to collect the signatures of 25% of the registered voters residing within the proposed sanitary district.  There are 196 registered voters in the district so we will need to get 55 signatures.   Jim was unsure if the signatures on the petition must exactly match the voter’s name as registered with the county and will email Mr. Hansen to clarify.

New Business: none.

The next meeting will be held March 7 at 6:30pm.  This meeting was adjourned at 7:36pm.

Submitted by Jim Stewart, Recording Secretary.
