WOODLAND HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING

February 9, 2011

The meeting began at 6:35pm. Attending were Jim Stewart, Dick Helmstetter, Kathy Colasardo, Carol Crozman, Lois Lund and Ed Striebel. Also in attendance was Sue Jones.

Secretary's Report: Jim read the minutes from the December meeting. Dick motioned to accept the minutes with a 2^nd by Kathy.

Income Statement: WCHA had net loss in January of $3,227 with expenses for leak repair (see the water report). A motion was made to accept the income statement by Jim, 2^nd by Randy.

Water Report: Two leaks on the main line were repaired. One was along Chickadee Lane and the other near Junco Lane. The Chickadee leak was an old curb stop beneath the middle of the road. Deteriorating pipe on the system side of a curb stop caused the Junco leak. Losses for the month were 57 percent.

Jim motioned to accept the water report with a second from Dick.

Old Business: The board will send out a new water schedule and a cover letter explaining the reason for the increase from $12 to $35. Jim will print labels. Dick will get the envelopes and postage and Lois will arrange for the rate schedule printing.

New Business: April 26 was selected as the date for the annual meeting.

The next board meeting will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 6:30pm.
