WOODLAND HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING

October 13, 2010

 

The meeting was started 6:35 pm.  Attending were Randy Alexander, Jim Stewart, Dick Helmstetter, Carol Crozman, Kathy Colasardo. Lois Lund and Ed Striebel

 

Secretary's Report:  Jim read the minutes from the September.  The minutes were perfect.  Dick motioned to accept the minutes with a 2nd by Kathy.

 

Income Statement:  We didn’t have any income in September.  Net loss for the month was $5,276.  The major expense was a payment on the engineering study.  Randy made a motion to accept the income statement with a 2nd by Jim.  During the board meeting Jim called our delinquent account and payment was promised to the board.  The resident requested a new meter and Ed will handle.

 

Water Report: Water losses for the month were 45%.  Other than the Labor Day weekend leak on the main line it was a quiet month.  A motion to accept was made by Jim and 2nd made by Kathy.

 

Old Business:  None

 

New Business:  The board confirmed Ted Schultz’ attendance at the October 26 meeting to discuss the preliminary engineering study.  Ted has a verbal commitment from a representative of the Black Hills Council of Government to attend.  The purpose of the meeting to get an indication from the residents on what actions they wish to see taken with the water system.  Envelopes with details on the meeting were stuffed and mailed to all the homeowners.

 

The next meeting will be held November 10th.   This meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm
