Call: The May 8, 2024 meeting was called to order
at 6:35pm.
In
attendance at the meeting were board members Garry Colasardo, John Knight,
Jared Nooney and Jim Stewart.
Also
attending was Lois Lund.

Secretary’s
Report: The minutes from April were approved 4-0.

highlights:
There were five unpaid
accounts in April and 1 past due from March.
Water
Report: The
backup well is running now for a couple of weeks. Otherwise a quiet month.
Dylan noted that we have 20 homes reporting on their service lines to
the sdwaterpipes web site. The feds are conducting a water service line
inventory to eliminate all lead water pipes in homes. If you have not completed the survey please do so online.

Business:
John Zogorski purchased an adjoining lot in 2019 and had been making the
special assessment payments on the lot and requested a refund. The lot line has been dissolved. The board noted a couple of other lots that
have no curb stop and don't pay the assessment. Garry made a motion to refund John $1,459.12. The motion was seconded and pass 4-0.
An
election date of July 23, 2024 was set.
The first day to accept nominating petitions in June 13 and July 3 is
the deadline for petitions to be turned in.
Nominating petitions are available by sending an email to Jim Stewart,
district secretary.
Road
Report: A
tax deposit of $573.96 was received.
Jared will ask TDG for an update on the drainage project.
