WOODLAND HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING

September 8, 2010

The meeting was started 6:35 pm. Attending were Randy Alexander, Jim Stewart, Dick Helmstetter, Carol Crozman, Kathy Colasardo. Lois Lund and Ed Striebel. Also attending were Tim Severson and Sue Jones.

Secretary's Report: Jim read the minutes from the August meeting. They were flawless restoring Jim’s respectability as recording secretary. Dick motioned to accept the minutes with a 2^nd by Kathy.

Income Statement: Net income in August was $570. One of our residents cannot seem to pay his bill and is two months over due after previously being six months overdue. Jim made a motion to accept the income statement with a 2^nd by Randy.

Water Report: Bill Hilton reported a leak near his home at the entrance to Woodland Hills. The main line was repaired on September 4. Water losses for the month were 31 percent of the gallons pumped. Ed conducted the annual audit of the meters reading each home’s meter. A motion to accept was made by Kathy and 2^nd made by Carol

Old Business: None.

New Business: Ted Schultz of Cetec Engineering presented the preliminary results of the engineering study. There are several options for our water system.

1) Do nothing and repair leaks and upgrade facilities upon failure.

2) Connect to another regional water system.

3) Complete system upgrades in phases.

4) Construct all capital improvements in one project.

The board agreed to meet and discuss these options and their costs and hold a public meeting for the homeowners at the Black Hawk Fire Department hall on Peaceful Pines Road. A letter will be mailed to the residents with details of that meeting.

The next meeting will be held October 13^th. This meeting was adjourned at 8:15pm
