WOODLAND HILLS COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING

March 10, 2010

The meeting was started 6:35pm. Attending were Gary Hansen, Randy Alexander, Jim Stewart, Dick Helmstetter, Carol Crozman, Lois Lund and Ed Striebel.

Secretary's Report: Jim read the minutes from the February meeting. Dick motioned to accept the minutes with a 2^nd by Jim.

Income Statement: Net income in January was $286. Annual dues were paid to the South Dakota Association of Rural Water Systems. Gary made a motion to accept the income statement with a 2^nd by Carol.

Water Report: Water losses for the month were down to 33 percent and other than things were calm with the water system. We got our annual Consumer Confidence report and our water system is still providing water fit to drink. Ed asked Dick if the drums placed near the #2 pump house by the road district could be moved. Water system inspectors don’t approve of any drums near a well or pump house. Jim made a motion to accept the water report and Gary seconded.

Old Business: Larry Taylor volunteered to repair the newsletter mailbox and will place it in a barrel of gravel and concrete, which should substantially damage the next car that hits the mailbox.

New Business: Jim volunteered to chair a nominating committee to find candidates to replace the three terms expiring in April. In addition to the expiring terms Dick Helmstetter would also require an approval vote at the April annual meeting to finish out his term of office through April 2011.

The next meeting will be held April 7 and this meeting was adjourned at 7:45pm
